The consumer heartbeat time defines the expected heartbeat cycle time and thus has to be higher than the corresponding producer heartbeat time configured on the device producing this heartbeat. Monitoring starts after the reception of the first heartbeat. If the consumer heartbeat time is 0 the corresponding entry is not used. The time has to be a multiple of 1ms.
Note: For more information see CiA Draft Standard 301, Version 4.02, page 100.

This contains the NodeId and the Heartbeat Time of the I/O Module (or Gateway). If the heartbeat time is equal to 0, no heartbeat is checked, and the bus-control mode is completely operational. If the heartbeat time is unequal to 0 then the heartbeat must be present in order to activate the Bus-Control Mode (see Par 200Ah Bit 5 - Activate Bus Setpoint for more info). If the heartbeat is lost and the Heartbeat Time is unequal to 0, then the pump sets the extern Off/Max/Min/On bits to 0, (exception, If Ext-Off was active the pump is turned off. This Parameter sets the active working point of the pump. The resolution is in 0.01 Percent which means that the value 10000 corresponds to 100%. 100% represents the max setpoint (depending on Control Mode, Max Pressure, Max Speed, etc.) and 0% represents the setpoint 0 (not depending on control Mode).
If a value is written that is lower than the specified pump min value (depending on Control Mode) it is limited to the min value and the Par 2050h Bit 2 - Setpoint out of Range is set. The pump does not turn off if the value 0 is written.
The setpoint is saved internally on power off. If the pump is restarted or rebooted the last value is loaded automatically.
Usage: This value should not be automatically written, it should only be written if a change is required (a user manually changes the setpoint on a monitor or alike) otherwise it will take priority over other control methods, and would make it impossible to change the Setpoint from other sources. If an automated source is to set Values, then use Par 2008h - Bus Setpoint instead of this Parameter.
Note: This Parameter is write only, in order to read back the setpoint that is being processed by the pump, read Par 2048h - Wanted Setpoint.
Dependency: This Parameter can change meaning if Par 2041h - System Control Mode changes.
Dependency: This Parameter is disabled, if the Par 200Ah Bit 5 - Activate Bus Setpoint is set to "1".
Dependency: CAN write access to This Parameter is disabled, if the Par 2056h Bit 4 - Local Operation Active is set to "1".
Variable Type: | SIGNED16, EEPROM | Formatting: | 0.01 Percent |
---|---|---|---|
Value: | 0 to 10000 | Default, Error: | 5000, n/a |
Permission: | wo | PDO: | no |
In the case of a Single Pump, This Parameter contains/affects the value of This Pump.
In the case of a Double Pump - Master, This Parameter contains/affects the value of This System.
This Parameter sets the active control mode of the pump. It is basically the same as the Par 2009h - Bus Control Mode. If a Control Mode is to be set in the pump, this parameter should be used. This Parameter has no constant min and max values, instead it allows only the supported Control Modes to be written to This Parameter. If a value is written, that is not supported, a min, max or other suitable error will be generated by the pump and the last valid value will be kept.
If CONST_SPEED mode is set in a DP System, both pumps run syncronously. CONST_SPEED mode is not supported by this parameter if the active pump is in a MP system.
The control mode is saved internally on power off. If the pump is restarted or rebooted the last value is loaded automatically.
Usage: This value should not be automatically written, it should only be written if a change is required (a user manually changes the setpoint on a monitor or alike) otherwise it will take priority over other control methods, and would make it impossible to change the Control Mode from other sources. If an automated source is to set values, then use Par 2009h - Bus Control Mode instead of this Parameter. This value does not affect the value of Par 2000h - Pump Setpoint (or Par 2008h - Bus Setpoint) and Par 2048h - Wanted Setpoint (if they already were at 50% they stay at 50% after changing this Parameter).
Note: This Parameter is write only, in order to read back the chosen setpoint for the pump, read Par 2049h - Wanted Control Mode.
Dependency: This Parameter is disabled, if the Par 200Ah Bit 6 - Activate Bus Control Mode is set to "1".
Dependency: CAN write access to This Parameter is disabled, if the Par 2056h Bit 4 - Local Operation Active is set to "1".
Dependency: This Parameter disables Par 208Bh - Estimated Pressure (System), if it is set to "CONST_CONTROL (PID)".

In the case of a Single Pump, This Parameter contains/affects the value of This Pump.
In the case of a Double Pump - Master, This Parameter contains/affects the value of This System.
This Parameter controls the running mode of the pump.
Usage: This value should not be automatically written, it should only be written if a change is required (a user manually changes the setpoint on a monitor or alike) otherwise it will take priority over other control methods, and would make it impossible to turn the pump on or off from other sources. If an automated source is to set values, then use Par 200Ah - Bus Command instead of this Parameter.
Dependency: This Parameter is disabled, if the Par 200Ah Bit 5 - Activate Bus Setpoint is set to "1".
Dependency: CAN write access to This Parameter is disabled, if the Par 2056h Bit 4 - Local Operation Active is set to "1".

Value: | 0 to 0xFF | Default, Error: | 0x01, n/a |
Permission: | wo | PDO: | no |
In the case of a Single Pump,
In the case of a Double Pump - Master,
This Bit turns the pump on or off. On means that the pump is pumping and Off means that the pump is not pumping. It is not possible to completely turn off the pump, the pump is always in standby mode.
Note: The on off setting is saved internally on power off, this parameter becomes this saved value upon restart or reboot.
Dependency: This Bit has the same priority as Par 200Ah Bit 0 - Pump On/Off.
Dependency: This Bit has lower priority than Par 200Ah Bit 1 - Extern Off.
Dependency: This Bit has lower priority than Par 200Ah Bit 2 - Extern Max.
Dependency: This Bit has lower priority than Par 200Ah Bit 3 - Extern Min.
Dependency: This Bit has lower priority than Par 200Ah Bit 4 - Extern On.
In the case of a Single Pump, This Bit contains/affects the value of This Pump.
In the case of a Double Pump - Master, This Bit contains/affects the value of This System.
This Parameter sets the active working point of the pump.
Usage: This value should only be used if a source continuosly sends values (a regulation unit, a 0-10V conversion unit or similar). If only a new value is to be written, then use Par 2000h - Pump Setpoint.
Note: If the setpoint is accompanied with a control mode (PDO), and the control mode is invalid, only the setpoint will be accepted and it would then depend on the previously selected control mode.
Note: This Parameter is write only, in order to read back the setpoint that is being processed by the pump, read Par 2048h - Wanted Setpoint.
Note: All percentages lower than the current min value (depending on Control Mode) are accepted, but limits the value to the min value. This activates the Par 2050h Bit 2 - Setpoint out of Range. The pump does not turn off if the value 0 is written to This Parameter.
Note: This Subindex is reserved for I/O-Module or Bus communication, it should not be used by a Gateway or other Master device.
Note: In the case of a DP or multipump where one or more pumps are set to Off, Max, Min or On, the other (DP), or one of the others (MP), still regulates with the chosen setpoint (This Parameter). This means that an external regulation unit can set specific pumps to Off, Max, Min or On (with specified fixed speed) and still regulate the last pump externally.
Dependency: This Parameter can change meaning if Par 2041h - System Control Mode changes.
Dependency: This Parameter is disabled, if the Par 200Ah Bit 5 - Activate Bus Setpoint is set to "0".
Dependency: CAN write access to This Parameter is disabled, if the Par 2056h Bit 4 - Local Operation Active is set to "1".

In the case of a Single Pump, This Parameter contains/affects the value of This Pump.
In the case of a Double Pump - Master, This Parameter contains/affects the value of This System.
This Parameter is basically the same as the Par 2001h - Pump Control Mode. The difference is that this parameter is written by a I/O-Module and it can have a higher priority (set by Par 200Ah Bit 6 - Activate Bus Control Mode) than its counterpart. It sets the active control mode of the pump.
Usage: This value should only be used if a source continuosly sends values (a regulation unit, a 0-10V conversion unit or similar). If only a new value is to be written, then use Par 2001h - Pump Control Mode.
Note: This Parameter is write only, in order to read back the chosen setpoint for the pump, read Par 2049h - Wanted Control Mode.
Note: This Parameter has no constant min and max values, instead it allows only the supported Control Modes to be written to This Parameter. If a value is written, that is not supported, a min, max or other suitable error will be generated by the pump.
Note: This Parameter is reserved for I/O-Module or Bus communication, it should not be used by a Gateway or other Master device.
Note: If CONST_SPEED mode is set in a DP System, both pumps run syncronously.
Note: CONST_SPEED mode is only supported by this parameter if the active pump is in a MP system. The MP CONST_SPEED mode is very different from the DP speed mode.
Dependency: This Parameter is disabled, if the Par 200Ah Bit 6 - Activate Bus Control Mode is set to "0".

Note: This Parameter is write only, in order to read back the chosen setpoint for the pump, some of the values can be read in Par 204Ah - Wanted Command.
Note: This Parameter is reserved for I/O-Module or Bus communication, it should not be used by a Gateway or other Master device.
Note: The activation bits are always evaluated first, so this byte can contain an combination of different values.
Note: This Parameter is deactivated if Par 1016h Sub 1 - Consumer Heartbeat Time (I/O Module) is activated and no corresponding heartbeat is present on the bus.
Example: If Par 200Ah Bit 2 - Extern Max is set in an MP system, then all pumps would run at Maximum Speed. If Par 2021h Sub 2 - Extern Off (Slave 1) is set at the same time, all pumps would run at Maximum Speed, but Slave 2, since Extern Off has higher Priority than Extern Max, would be turned off.
Dependency: CAN write access to This Parameter is disabled, if the Par 2056h Bit 4 - Local Operation Active is set to "1".

In the case of a Single Pump,
In the case of a Double Pump - Master,
This Bit turns the pump on or off. On means that the pump is pumping and Off means that the pump is not pumping. It is not possible to completely turn off the pump, the pump is always in standby mode.
Usage: This value should only be used if a source continuosly sends values (a regulation unit, a 0-10V conversion unit or similar). If only a new value is to be written, then use Par 2002h Bit 0 - Pump On/Off.
Note: The effective value in the pump is saved with power off (non-volatile).

Note: This Subindex is reserved for I/O-Module or Bus communication, it should not be used by a Gateway or other Master device.
Note: See Par 200Ah - Bus Command for an Priority example.
Note: It is only possible to write or modify this bit if an I/O Module (or gateway, depending on Par 1016h Sub 1 - Consumer Heartbeat Time (I/O Module)) is sending Heartbeats on the configured address. If this Heartbeat is lost this Parameter is set to 0.
Note: If this variable is set, it is also displayed in the Old IR-Monitor.

In the case of a Single Pump, This Bit contains/affects the value of This Pump.
In the case of a Double Pump - Master, This Bit contains/affects the value of This System.
This Bit makes the pump run at maximum speed, disregarding the previous setting (also see priority dependencies below).
Usage: This value should only be used if a source continuosly sends values (a regulation unit). If this functionality is required, without having a regulation source then you can mimic this Parameter by first setting the Par 2000h - Pump Setpoint to 100% and then Par 2001h - Pump Control Mode to Speed mode. To disable this mimic, first write the old value to Par 2001h - Pump Control Mode then the old value to Par 2000h - Pump Setpoint.
Note: This Subindex must not be saved with power off. If the pump resets and boots without the connected unit, it should be accessible over normal parametering.

In the case of a Single Pump, This Bit contains/affects the value of This Pump.
In the case of a Double Pump - Master, This Bit contains/affects the value of This System.
This Bit makes the pump run at minimum speed, disregarding the previous setting (also see priority dependencies below).
Usage: This value should only be used if a source continuosly sends values (a regulation unit). If this functionality is required, without having a regulation source then you can mimic this Parameter by first setting the Par 2000h - Pump Setpoint to 0% and then Par 2001h - Pump Control Mode to Speed mode. To disable this mimic, first write the old value to Par 2001h - Pump Control Mode then the old value to Par 2000h - Pump Setpoint.

Note: This Subindex must not be saved with power off. If the pump resets and boots without the connected unit, it should be accessible over normal parametering.
Dependency: This Bit has higher priority than Par 200Ah Bit 0 - Pump On/Off.
Dependency: This Bit has lower priority than Par 200Ah Bit 1 - Extern Off.
Dependency: This Bit has lower priority than Par 200Ah Bit 2 - Extern Max.

This Bit is set if the pump internally sets values. Pump Kick and Auto Night Mode Modifies this bit, it is also set if an Error is active, that affects the operation of the pump. Another possibility is that the Interrupted Operation mode is active.
Note: Interrupted Operation: (EP/DP-SL/MP-SL, for this pump only) (DP-MA/MP-MA, The master can only enter the Int. Op. Mode if the sensor is broken or detached (E40, E42). An E52 will not bring the master or the system in an Interrupter Operation mode. This bit is thus only set if the system has lost its sensor, i.e. all pumps in this system is operating in Int. Op. Mode. If the slave is disconnected, 'E52', then the master cannot safely say that the slave is in Int. Op Mode therefore it should not report this, for more information see the E52-Description)

In the case of a Single Pump,
In the case of a Double Pump - Master,
This parameter reflects the number of pumps of the system that this pump is part of. If the pump is a Single Pump then it contains the value 1. If the pump is a Double Pump it contains the value 2. If it is a Multipump then it contains a value between 2 and 6. If at any time a new pump is connected to the system This Parameter increases. If at any time this pump works alone, this value will be 1.
Note: This Parameter changes it values to or from 0 and 1 automatically. In order to change This Parameter from a value higher than 1 to another value higher than 1, you have to write 0 to This Parameter (an Ident change force) or go through an ident change (MA-MA blinking has been confirmed). A factory reset does not reset this parameter!
Note: When this Parameter changes from a higher value than 1 to another value higher than 1, a Configuration Change is initiated. In this Configuration Change, some parameters are resetted (for example Par 212Fh - Q-Histogramm).
Note: Only a 0 can be written to this Parameter, all other values generates an error response.
Dependency: CAN write access to This Parameter is disabled, if the Par 2056h Bit 4 - Local Operation Active is set to "1".

This Parameter contains statistical data, in order to see where the pump is working in the moment. This Parameter array can have different resolutions, but each value is always an n-th of the total range (5 values, gives each percentage a 20% share of the flow range). This Array can be reset if one of the subindexes is written to 0.
Note: Before the data of this parameter is read, the Number of Entries must be read in order to know how many colums are present and which ranges they have.
Note: The Par 21A7h - Max Flow must be used in order to present the maximum Flow (Qmax) in the diagram.
Note: In the case that this pump has not yet been running, the percentages are all set to 0. In the case of a DP or MP Pump, this parameter collects data for the complete System.
Note: The values here are resetted if the pump changes configuration (for example from Single Pump to Double Pump, or from a Multi Pump with 2 Slaves to to a Multi Pump with 3 Slaves). See Par 206Eh - Number of DP/MP Pumps for information when a configuration change can occur.
Note: This Parameter is also reset on Factory Reset and if the running mode is changed (Peak mode or Main/reserve mode)

This Parameter is automatically resetted to zero as soon as the function has returned, it has been written as '1', and will read as a zero when the event has taken place. Writing this parameter to a '1' activates the Pump Swap Function, simultaneously the time to the next swap is reset. The next free spare pump will be chosen in the case of a MP System. Writing this Parameter to 0 is not allowed.
Note: This Parameter is not related to Operation Hours or any other Parameter.
Note: In the case of a MP there is a rule how the next pump is chosen, see Par 2311h - Number Reserve Pumps (MP only), Par 2312h - Fixed Reserve Pumps (MP only) and Par 2314h - Pump Absolute Distribution (MP only).
